Analysis of residential properties going under contract(contingent) in Charleston SC during week of 9/9/16-9/15/16

  • 293 residential properties went under contract this past week. Slowing down just a little.  Will continue to slow slightly until February 2017.
  • 233 single family homes went under contract this past week. Median LIST price $265k, $128/sqft.  9 under $100k. 10 over $1M, 3 of those over $2M. Median 26 CDOM. Median Yr Blt 2002
  • 17 (7%) of 233 single family homes that went under contract this past week were BANK OWNED FORECLOSURES or SHORT SALES.  Another 11% new construction.  6 of 9 short sales in areas 31/32, 61-76
  • 47 island single family homes went under contract this past week.
